FREE Sony Portable DVD Player

We have some family vacations coming up this year. And in addition to some six hour plane flights with 3 kids under 6 years old, I needed a way to hook up my XBOX and play on the road. So, I've killed two birds with one stone. The Sony DVP-FX820 is an 8", Hi Res (800x480), portable DVD player. It has a Video/Audio Input, so I can use it as a display with my XBOX 360. And Sony really does this one up right. 6 hour battery, remote control, AC adapter, DC Car adapter, only thing missing is a carrying case. I'll pick that up at Target or Wal Mart.

So, why are you waiting to start getting free stuff from Gaming Lagoon?

They have some excellent high point offers right now, you can get over 40 points on one offer at no cost to you.

So, how about you quit hesitating and sign up for Gaming Lagoon today!

Thanks Gaming Lagoon, my higher gamer score thanks you!

Free Computer!

Ok, I haven't been on the site in a while, but not becuase I haven't been at Gaming Lagoon, filling out surverys and offers, accumilating points. I've just been saving my points from Gaming Lagoon to get a very speical prize. So, I've been on Gaming Lagoon, almost daily, filling out medical offers, credit card offers, surverys and the like. Finally, last week, I had enough points for an ultimate prize from Gaming Lagoon, a Lenovo Ideapad Netbook PC. So I ordered it from Gaming Lagoon and waited.

When I go home from work yesterday, I had two boxes from UPS waiting for me at the front door. Inside were shiny, pretty boxes from Lenovo.

Opened up the boxes, inside were a shiny RED Lenovo Ideapad S10 computer and a matching Lenovo Laser Mouse. Got it all free fromGaming Lagoon. That's right, a $400 computer, free from Gaming Lagoon!

It only took me a couple of hours to get this thing and loaded up with my favoirte low end and old school games, AVG Free Anti Virus software and the cool Matrix KS Screen Saver from Kelly Software. I took a picture next to my XBOX 360 Controller so everyone could see how small this really cool computer really is in comparison.

Thanks, Gaming Lagoon, this is the BEST PRIZE EVER!

Fabulous Lego Prize

Thanks to Gaming Lagoon I now have more Free XBOX 360 Points and accessories than I can currently use. So I've been playing with the custom ordered prizes. So far I've gotten a Green iPod Shuffle, a Red iPod Shuffle, and a rechargeable battery for my Lego Mindstorms NXT kit.

So, what to get next? Legos! From the Lego Online Store I had Gaming Lagoon send me the Lego Ferrari Scuderia Set 8654 and a Lego Millenium Falcon Bag Charm.

Pretty cool set, a truck, a car and six minifigs:

And everything packs up in the truck to hit the road:

More Fablous Prizes

Ok, I've been working 60-70 hours per week, and neglecting this site. However, that doesn't mean I haven't been answering surveys and getting really cool prizes. So here is a quick update.

Gaming Lagoon will now custom order ANYTHING you desire from the web with your points. So, I decided to test this out, first with a gaming item, then with a non gaming item.

First up was a set of Turtle Beach X3 Gaming Headphones. These things are AWESOME - they take the Analog Audio from the XBOX and send it wirelessly to some headsets that plug into your 360 Controller. You get stereo sound and voice chat all in one package. This is great when my family is asleep for the night, or when I travel to hotels for exteneded stays and take my XBOX. There was no problem getting these, in fact, I hunted them down slightly used on eBay with Buy It Now available on the auction. Gaming Lagoon ordered it and shipped it to my house, it was great.

Then, I went for something not only custom, but a little difficult, I wanted to see just how good Gaming Lagoon was on their custom orders. They kicked ass! I got an Apple iPod Shuffle 2GB MP3 Player, custom ordered from the Apple online store. When you order from Apple you can get custom engraving done, so I got "DEATH BEFORE INCONVENIENCE" engraved on the back of my green Apple iPod 2GB that was FREE from Gaming Lagoon.

So, what are you waiting for? Gaming Lagoon will order ANYTHING for you after you get some easy points from some simple surveys!

Prizes Update

I've been traveling a lot for work, but it hasen't kept me from getting some cool prizes on Gaming Lagoon. Check out this AWESOME Hori Turbo Controller. The A, B, X and Y buttons are all indepently selectable for Turbo Fire at two different rates.

I've used this to get achievements on a ton of games. All free from Gaming Lagoon!

I don't have a photo right now, but I also used Gaming Lagoon to get a battery for the Lego Robot listed a couple of posts down. Gaming Lagoon is awesome!

Help me beat Major Nelson

My blog at 360voice.com is close to being the #1 blog, I just neeed your help, making it #1 and beating Major Nelson this month. I'm turning 40, and would really love to beat out Major Nelson for the top spot at 360 Voice this month. So please, check out my blog and help me beat Major Nelson's blog.

Lego Mindstorms Takes over Perfect Dark Zero

Ok, so I saw something along these lines in OXM magazine. I know I'm not the first, but this is still super cool.

Sunday I made a trek to Toys 'R Us and picked up a Lego Mindstorms NXT Robot.

I came home last night and DID NOT READ ANY OF THE INSTRUCTIONS. I have been doing heavy duty Legos sinces I was about 10 years old. Over 30 years of experience, I don't need no stinkin' directions.

After an hour, I had a robot that looked like this:

Then I started to create the program in the Lego software and download it to the robot, it took about another hour, but I got it kicking ass and taking names.

Notice the purple rubber band holding the sticks together, this is so that I keep moving and don't get booted to Spectator Mode.

Right now I'm working on 1000 Dark Ops games. When that is done, I'll work on 1000 Killcount. Then on 1000 Rounds Survived if I don't have it already.

And before you judge, the Dark Ops games take a minimum of 3 minutes each, times the 900 I needed. This comes out to 2700 minutes or 45 hours. So I would never, ever get this any other way. The Killcount games seem to take a minimum of about 5 minutes. So it would be closer to 70 hours to get that achievement.

After that I have plans to modify the bot, and get the 10,000 miles driven in Ridge Racer 4. Then on to Bejeweled Endless Mode. I think the sky is the limit with stupid, repetitive tasks on getting achievements. Now I can play games and have fun, and let this bot do the mundane stuff while I sleep and go to work.

Call Of Duty 4 - It was Free!

As a speical offer, Gaming Lagoon let folks pre-order Call Of Duty 4. So I ran up the points, and got my copy for free from Gaming Lagoon. It shipped quickly, and I was playing late this week, I didn't start playing for a few days becuase I've been busy with some personal stuff. This game is great! And it didn't cost me one penny, thanks to Gaming Lagoon. Follow the links here and get some free stuff for yourself.

Free For Wii

A while back, I was saving Gaming Lagoon points to get a Nintendo Wii. We wanted it for the kiddos for Christmas. My wife found one locally and bought it for the kids, so I had a bunch of points, but no Wii accessories.

Gaming Lagoon to the rescue. We got all the great accessories you see in the photo below:

Here we have:

HD Cable Set
Wii Play Controller with 9 Games
Classic Controller
(2) Nunchuck Controllers
Wii LAN Adapter
Wii Charge Station

All in all, that is $185 in Wii accessores before taxes, so depending on where you live, this is easily over $200 worth of Wii stuff at the store.

So, got a console? Need stuff? Go to Gaming Lagoon and get some great free stuff.

All my 360 freebies!

This is it, my stash of XBOX 360 Prizes from Gaming Lagoon, I thought I would show them all at once, I added it all up, it comes out to $523.84 of XBOX 360 goodness before taxes or shipping is added.

What are you waiting for? There is an offer from Discover for 50 points and one from eBay for 10 points. If you get them both before November, you can order Call Of Duty 4 for free from the site. That's my next goal, just waiting for approval of my new Discover card.

Another Great Prize

It has been a while since I've posted, I've been getting some great prizes, but have been too busy with summer fun and work to get a chance to post. I just came back from vacation and found this in my mailbox, so I snapped a quick photo to share, will have some more soon as well.

Gaming Lagoon gets you the best prizes, fast.

This is the Microsoft Chat Pad - it clips to your XBOX 360 controller and lets you type messages and enter redemption codes from Points and Membership cards.

This thing is great, I've only been using it two days, and already don't want to go back to the old school hunting with the analog stick.

It does not interfere with your play either, I've been playing Gears Of War and the Chat Pad is not in the way.

- Also, there are two great deals on Gaming Lagoon you should be able to find right now.

- #1 - eBay - 10 Points - Just create a new eBay account, bid on something and you get 10 points.

- #2 - Discover Business Card - 50 Points - Just apply for a Discover Business Credit Card and get 50 points

That's 60 points total, or 3 1600 Microsoft Points cards for about 15 minutes of filling out surveys at Gaming Lagoon.

So, what are you waiting for, click on any of the Gaming Lagoon links and start getting your freebies today!

The Giveaway

Every Monday morning for the next seven (7) weeks, I will be holding a random drawing for 1,600 MS points. In total, this means we will be giving away 11,200 Microsoft points. I would be giving away exactly 10,000, but MS makes that impossible in how they break down the prepaid cards.

The Rules

1. All you have to do to be eligible is post a comment to any xbox blog on this site. To leave a comment, find any xbox blog with comments enabled and use the comment form under any blog entry. You can always find some blogs with comments by looking in the Top 20 Most Popular List on the 360voice homepage. Anyone with a star (*) next to their name has comments on.

2. When posting a comment on an xbox blog, you have to use your GAMERTAG in the name field... otherwise, I won't know how to track you down. If you use someone elses gamertag, they will win! So don't do that unless you want them to. :)

3. You DO NOT need to be a member of 360voice to leave a comment. Anyone can leave a comment on an Xbox blog so anyone is eligible.

4. I will private msg you via Xbox live to let you know you won and you can provide your mailing info for the pre-paid 1600 card shipped from Amazon.com. If you have a 360voice account, you will also get the Contest Winner badge!!

5. It DOES NOT matter how many comments you leave. Each tag is counted only once... so don't spam the comments.

8. We are not responsible for ANY situation that prevents you from commenting and therefore being unable to enter. You can let us know and we will make every reasonable attempt to accommodate you all, but this is just for fun... and you have 7 days each week to enter.. so if a technical snafu takes the site down on one of the days that week, just comment on another day.

9. FYI, we reserve the right to change the rules at anytime... just in case I made a mistake or something. Don't worry though, if the rules change I will tell you all!

New Prize In Sight!

Ok, I've been filling out the surveys, saving up the points. I've decided to go for a Free Nintendo Wii for 250 points. I'm nearing 170 points right now. Found a great offer yesterday - the OBO Pay offer that gets you 4.75 points. You have to have a cell phone, and you get a free $10 debit card for signing up. Now watch out, there are some other OBO offers out there on the site that are not as good as this one. But if you sign up for the one I did you get nearly $15 in credit for five minutes of filling out a form and confirming your address. Thanks Gaming Lagoon!

Catching Up With Gaming Lagoon

I'm still filling out my surveys at Gaming Lagoon, but now I can't decide on what I want for a prize. They have a new program, where you can get almost anything gaming related for a prize, all you have to do is pick it out at Amazon or Circuit City's website. Canadian users can even pick prizes from the amazon.ca site! Just go to Available Prizes and click on Custom Order to find out the details when you sign up at Gaming Lagoon today. So I'm not sure what I'm going to save up for now, but I'm sure I will get something very cool, very soon, from Gaming Lagoon!

On the road...

I've been traveling extensively for both work and vacation, and haven't been home much to post. I have, however, been filling out Gaming Lagoon surveys like crazy at night while on the road for business. As a result I have nearly 120 points from Gaming Lagoon. Why so many points saved up you ask? Because Gaming Lagoon has added a ton of really cool prizes. You can get a Nintendo DS, Gameboy Advanced or PSP portable console. There are accessories now for virtually every platform you can currently purchase, including the HD-DVD Playser and 120GB HDD for XBOX 360, controllers for Nintendo Wii, and Blue Ray remotes for the PS3.

What are you waiting for? Get on over to Gaming Lagoon today and start getting your free prizes.
